Maybe it’s time to consider getting an E Boat…….the E fleet is the only one that seems to be getting much tiller time. They’ve raced twice as many races as the rest of us. Oh well……..what’s really important is that the Fourth of July is upon us. So prepare to put on your best face for the invading hordes (including friends and relatives), visit your favorite carnie or tent vendor, and enjoy the biggest holiday of the summer.
FOURTH OF JULY REGATTA……….is this weekend, Saturday June 30 and Sunday July 1. In spite of the history of uncooperative winds this summer, you should still look for back to back races on Saturday. And, let’s face it, we’re accustomed to light breezes and heavy boat waves over the 4thanyway.
BLAST FROM THE PAST – 60 YEARS AGO………see if you recognize any of these folks. I got 3 out of 4, but then again, I’m piling the years on…………
