A QUICK INTERLAKES REGATTA REPORT………Even though the Interlakes Regatta is not the 120 boat event it once was, that was one heckuva regatta we put on last weekend. Much praise and many thanks to all who participated, who volunteered, who opened their homes to sailors and parties, and who helped keep the tradition alive. And the grand finale was getting to race in 35 mph gusts when we all hit the race course expecting 10 mph……..upwind was murderous, but the downwinds were a full blown roller coaster ride. If you’re interested in the results, visit the front page of the CLYC website.
FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL………at the Yacht Club this Friday, August 10 (that would be tomorrow). It starts at 5:30 p.m. This is open house style so come down and bring friends! The grill will be hot. BYOB. Looks like it will be a Top 10 weather evening.

Some of you probably don’t even know what a Y Boat is, and most of us have forgotten how huge the CLYC fleets were back in the day.
