I’ve been getting so much better at including all the fun and excitement; it looks as though I’ve take a step backward. 

This weekend brings one more event that I can hardly believe I forgot: 

Without consulting the CLYC Board and/or Officers, Churchill Downs rescheduled the Kentucky Derby for September 5^th.  Since the Derby and E fleet racing will be held concurrently Ann Schurtz declares the celebrations shall be moved “off-shore.”  The E-fleet will now be “Racing for the Roses”, the Juno Cup and the Labor Day Regatta.  We invite the spectator fleet to turn out in Derby-wear, the signature piece of which is a fun hat, BYO Mint Juleps.  Contact Ann Schurtz with any questions or for more information.
